What has been done to address this issue prior to this application?

Be sure to articulate how the funds will solve the issue and help move a person towards a goal, like long term housing.

Example: a class they cannot afford, schooling application; 1st and last month rental deposit

Requests not typically supported by SOBER Foundation:
Court fines and driving fees; ignition interlock; monthly rent* and resources available outside Sober Foundation

The treatment team(not participants) can request emergency funds for participants in unique situations (ie domestic violence) and can request an expedited consult with Sober Foundation board

Note: the board relies on the team to request funds that they believe will help move a participant forward.
