The life-changing process of recovery can be filled with financial needs that oftentimes become barriers to success. 

Understanding the obstacles that Treatment Court participants may face, SOBER Foundation carefully reviews each application for funding assistance we receive. We rely on various criteria to make decisions and have funded the following types of expenses in the past:

• Housing deposits for sober living communities

• Public transportation for arriving to and from treatment and support meetings

• Parental needs as it relates to childcare and supplies

• Educational/Vocational including GED testing vouchers and scholarships for higher education

• Health, including assistance with medication, doctor appointment co-pays and help with dental and vision

• Personal wellness including trainings in yoga, meditation, diet, exercise, and smoking cessation

• Sober activities like Sober Sluggers Softball Team, annual picnic, positive family activities and annual SOBER Dance
